I haven't found a real jaw-dropper in a while, but I think this qualifies. $2 in a thrift store. 1st UK red semi-circle pressing (despite the French price sticker). SAX 2355, this never came with a turquoise/silver label. Rare as hens' teeth, and sells for big bucks, but this one's a keeper. Not a mark on it, might never have been played, from the looks of it.
I listened to the 3rd. A nice sounding EMI recording, and an attractive performance. Less hell-bent than a lot of performances. The best one word description that I can think of is "atmospheric".
