Papst motor wiring - offbeat colors

I have this olde Papst motor, but the wire colors don't match the diagrams I've seen on the net - I got it is as-is, so no existing installation to guide me.

Anyone have any idea on what the blue/purple/brown wires do, and how they get connected to the hot leg, the faking cap., etc?
