Project Debut Carbon turntable (DC version)

My last turntable died and I'm planning on getting a new one. I've read really good reviews on the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon w/the Ortofon 2M Red.
However, the AC version which sold for $399- has had HUM issues.
Has anybody out there purchased the new DC version and experienced these problems or any other problems? I really like to know before I decide to
purchase one.
