I recently acquired a Stanton 'WOS CS100' and so was prompted to set up my Magnepan 'Unitrac' - which I've had mounted (as a second arm) on my TT for a year ... but never used until now. What a sensational combo! :-)) The WOS CS100 is a rare Stanton and, supposedly, the top of their line (above the 980/981HZS). It is a high-compliance cart and so needs a very low eff-weight arm ... the 'Unitrac' (at 7gm) fulfills this excellently. :-))
My other arm/cart combo is a Benz LP (the original) mounted in a 12", ebony-wanded UP arm made here in Melbourne (Oz, not Florida) - and I'm thinking this is seriously challenged by the Stanton/Unitrac combo. :-))
I was prompted to buy the 'WOS CS100' by a mate who is a Stanton addict - and I'm very glad I did. BTW, I have it loaded at 35K - not 47K - on the advice of Carlos in Puerto Rico. It sounds better at 35K! :-))
Regards,Andy
