Arrived today. Was on my way to a Cornet3 when I saw this on the trader here. Stu has some interesting caps at output. Things are flattened oil-wetted poly. Very nice sound - no damned hum. Had to rearrange it on the rack so the back shows instead of the front to accommodate the SUT which did hum sitting next to it.
No mono switch but that is what the Jolida is for, being fed from a DL-102.
My only mod was to add copper tape to the base of the rectifier - really increases the quality. UncleStu put this together and with some nice touches: brass screws on the transformer, diode decoupling on the power, very sweet output tubes. I wouldn't mess with his work - not that I could, mind you. mess it up maybe .. ;-)
Looks like Stu has a customized Cornet2 for sale, in case anyone is interested.
