[sigh] Perhaps my final Beatles Mono Vinyl Thread

Beatles Mono Vinyl Folks,

This's strictly about the vinyl sound/noise on your discs.

Many folks have posted about the absolute silence, incredibly clean background, etc. of the records.

I have a question, please: Would you post (very brief is fine) about the actual BG levels, including any tics, pops, or "swooshes"?

I would greatly appreciate any/all replies here.

I've now played all sides of my box set, save one LP. While all of them are truly quiet in general, there are quite a few light tics and a few of the "swooshes" present. The swooshes (sorry: I don't know if there's a common name for them – there's no attack to the sound; it's just a ... quiet "swooshy" noise) are audible only in the "betweens."

Is this familiar to you? Or am I the only one here who bought the box and got discs with these (admittedly minor) aural blemishes?

Thanks,

-=- Charlie F.
