BIC 980 repair update part 2.

I have repaired and fixed all the issues with the table.

1. new bearing and O-ring - check

2. replaced main capaicotors in the power supply - check

3. readjusted the speed control to center now - check

4. fixed the level/s to now freely move so arm drops at 12" instead of 7"
Cleaned lubricated everything that needs it according to the service manual.
5. replaced slightly warpped platter - check

Now the only thing I haven't done is opened the motor inspected for looseness and clean and lubricated.

I'm still having a drift problem but it's better now but different. the table when you first start it will slowly drift in the negative directon on the strobe but steady. then after 30mins to an hour will slowly drift positive and then after adjusting speed control with be steady with a very very slight drift after more hours go by. I heard some click from the motor after I used my fingers to check the torque on it but after a few turns in both directions it went away and was quiet. so I suspect there may be some cleaning and lubricating to do in the motor now.

Hopefully after doing that the motor will be fine.
