Thought I'd share a repair I had to do recently. Customer took TT to another competitor who, in attempting repair, lost the tone arm base !!!! Tried to find something compatible (AQ PT-6) but gave up and decided to fabricate the base out of plexi. Finished version differs only in that I had to add a second securing set screw as the arm could rock a little.

Used 1/2 inch plexi although I believe I should have use polycarbonate instead. Arm had been rewired with 33ga Cardas previously.
