It looks like you went with a transmission line bass enclosure? I bet you have some good bass coming from your speakers.
A few suggestions... If you put spikes under the speakers, it should tighten up the bass. They make brass disks you can place under the spikes on so it will not damage your hardwood floors. Depending upon how they were built, I suggest taking a router and round the corners of the speakers even if it is only a 1/4" radius. If you can go to a 3/8" or 1/2" radius, even better. As for the finish, If you can swing it, I would go for a real wood veneer such as walnut, cherry, etc.
