I would listen, as the brahms VC was supposedly great in that series.
Nowadays, since we moved to a smaller place, my wife doesn't want me to buy too many new ones, unless they're more special.

Aside, My young teen is learning violin, sits in 2 orchestras (2nd violins), and we're now always trying to listen to various concertos. She prefers youtube (ha). They are learning to accompany people, and she recognized the opening part of the Double (that Szell one), but she said, "oh, I know it, but the soloists changed pieces."

She likes concertos, like her Dad. She is now on Saint Saens Intro, Rondo and Scherzo Capriccioso, after going through the 3rd Bach Violin Partita, 1st movement and others prior to that. Amazing the progress young people who are motivated can achieve.
