Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

I have been reading the archives about people using various types of sound dampening sheets on the inside of their disc players.Dynamat makes a sheet that is also layered with aluminum. Besides dampening the case from vibration, would this aluminum layer offer any additional shielding?
What can anyone else add about this tweak?
Thanks,
EBE
