I purchased a pair of tubes a while ago labeled Telefunken E88CC-01 from a fairly well known and recommended tube seller (not present on this site and I will not name him) who mostly specialized in octals. They do not have a diamond plate on the bottom but he nonetheless assured me they were Telefunkens.However, attempting to do some research on them I can not find any mention of a Telefunken E88CC-01. Nor do they look like any Telefunkens I could find images of. If anything they look like some Siemens ECC88s (actually I meant PCC88s).
So here are some photos (sorry for the quality, I'm terrible at taking pictures) and perhaps someone can identify them?
