I'm looking for a budget amplifier to complement a Bottlehead Foreplay. I haven't purchased the foreplay yet so I have not ruled out an integrated. Budget is $300.
My speakers are Voigt tubes and have a efficiency of about 89db and I have a tiny listening room so wattage can be pretty low and should not be too high.
I'm open for new, used, kit, but not DIY unless there is a fantastic design that will save me enough money that it's worth the time. I've got some circuit experience but I don't want to sink that much money into something that I could very likely scree up.
I prefer something that is pretty common because I do not have alot of time to look for one(I promised my reciever to my mother for her new HT).
