Well, when I was doing the same decision about a year ago, I resorted to three reasons as to why I bought the Paradigms (over the NHTs):1) Bass -- the Paradigm goes DEEP for a minimonitor. It was sufficient for me to keep the speakers as they are in my entry level system without adding a sub, etc.
2) Room placement -- the Paradigms are, from what I hear, much easier to place. Give them a foot or so from the back and sides, and you're fine.
3) Price -- I bought my Paradigms for $240. At the time, the difference in price meant a lot to me.
