I'm looking for a subwoofer for my home theater that will also be used to extend the low end of my Maggie 1.6QR's (used for stereo only- can't find a center channel I like to use with them). Say 90% Home Theater/10% Music(for Blues/Rock or Classical Organ). My home theater room is 4-5,000 sq ft.I don't want to have to lug a big subwoofer from room to room so I'm thinking about getting a Sunfire or a Velodyne HGS. Does anyone have any experience with mating these to Maggies? Are there any other subwoofers I should consider? My budget is $2,000 or less.
Thanks in advance for your input.
