I have been listening to audio and studio music for more than 30 years. I know when something sounds good. If I remember correctly the RS6 were floor standers. Yes the RS2 need power, I have it. But they do disappear when set up correctly. They also have the Kef T27 tweeter, the high end is sweet not lacking and not hot. The bass is very good. I'll give the midrange to the Quads.
My quads sound excellent and can play all day at all levels and have better bass than most people think. There is nothing wrong with them at all.
Come over I'll prove it!
