A friend of mine uses two sets at once and they sound well together. He is using an Emovita pre-amp and 1 emovita 300 wpc amp for each set of speakers. The speakers seem as opposite as can be, but he feels each of their weak points is helped by the other set. One set is Polk ATI 7's and the other are Bose 901's mounted on the sloped ceiling about 2' from the back wall. I am well aware of what most of you think of Bose products. He uses what he calls a "control freak" rheostat to balance the volume. Can this method ever work?
