Polk Audio Monitor 10s?

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

I see its been awhile since these speakers have been discussed and wanted to get some fresh opinions. I was wanted to upgrade my speakers and I have 3 possible options.

1. Keep the speakers I have. Klipsch KG 4.2s, replace a tweeter diaphragm that is rattling and restore the crossover.

2. Buy a mint condition set of Polk Audio Monitor 10s which will probably also need crossover work.

3. Buy a used something else current production tower(Polk, infinity, etc.) in the $250-$300 range

I have a 30wpc tube amp and I listen to a wide variety of music. I like the imaging of the Klipsch and the overall sound, but I'm just wanting to try something else.
