Hi-Vi M8a 8" woofer...opinions?

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Just wondering if this a fairly low quality woofer, (know it is priced fairly low). I am thinking of pairing two of them per enclosure with a Fountek Ribbon, in a two-way. I am wondering if the mid-range might be a bit bright. I have no experience with alloy cone mid bass drivers. Madisound will do a leap for me. Any opinions would be helpful.
