I need some advice and opinions on two main speakers I am considering. The two are: B&W 683 S2 and Klipsh Heresy III.
A pair of one of these will be my new main speakers. They will be used mostly for two channel music from a high quality CD player. I will play movies through the speakers but they are not for a home theater system. I do have a decent quality powered subwoofer but I will only use that if I have to.
The type of music I listen to is modern jazz, blues, jazz fusion, rock but not too much "heavy metal". Once in a while I will play a DVD of live BB King or a live rock band if the sound quality is good.
As a reference the B&W are going for about 825 USD and the Klipsh 1000 USD by me. I might be able to get some off that price.
Anybody have advice for me or an opinion on those two speakers? I have pretty much narrowed it down to a pair of either of those two speakers. Thanks.
