Magico S5 Mk2 announced!

Mono & Stereo magazine have spilled the beans on the long awaited S5 Mk2. (see link below). At the time of posting, there were no teasers or official word yet on Magico's website or FB page.
The S5 Mk2 will include some (but not all) of the innovations in the flagship S7 incl: new 10" bass drivers with a lighter aluminium cone & hybrid carbon Nano-Tec/Nano-Graphene dust cap which is 20% lighter and 300% stiffer than the previous generation, hybrid carbon Nano-Tec/Graphene midrange, a re-worked tweeter (though with the old BE diaphragm) & computer-modelled polycarbonate midrange enclosure (as used in S3/S7).
The write up states S5 Mk2 will have the diamond-coated BE diaphragm (as used in the S7), however anecdotally it would appear it will employ the current BE diaphragm as the photo suggests.
S5 Mk2 has a new cabinet profile with a heavier, tapered top plate to reduce standing waves & heavy bottom plate with integrated outrigger feet. No word yet on the crossover, however i'd expect it will include the nice Mundorf Mcap Supreme Evo Silver/Gold in oil caps used in the S7.
It's clear Alon wanted to filter down some of the engineering triumphs from the MPro & S7 to progressively improve the model, without creating a new model as such (eg: S6), whilst maintaining the S7 as the flagship in the S series. Never the less, the upgrades are not subtle and in my mind, it is basically a new speaker. I think Alon got the balance right. I like it!
