What to put between Polk R50 and Samsung smart tv?

Hi!

I am a total, complete newbie when it comes to audio technology, so please bear with me : )

We have a Samsung smart tv at home, and recently bought Polk R50 speakers. The problem is, I have no idea what we need to put in between them - amplifier, receiver, etc?

Since we're not experts, we'd ideally like to buy something middle-of-the-line: not too expensive, but also not so cheap that it'll break...

I've attached a picture of the back of our tv because I don't know how to explain what all the different input things are, or the tv model (there are too many strings of numbers on the back for me to guess which is which).

If anyone has any advice, I would be forever appreciative! : ) Thank you in advance!
