Bookshelf Speakers Again

I concede that this is already well trod ground in this forum, but I am having a hard time making a decision and would welcome input. My thirty year old daughter has discovered vinyl and has asked me to put together a system for her for Christmas. All her existing music is on computer. After a bit of research, I have purchased a Marantz PM6004 integrated amp, a Rega p1 table and a Firefly DAC to provide easy integration for her computer and Iphone. I need bookshelf speakers. My daughter's one request was that they have attractive wood exterior. My budget is $800-$1000. I have looked on line and in forums, and have the following on the shot list: Monitor Silver 2; LSA 1; (both in Rosewood); Focal 806V in Walnut from Music Direct, and Source 1.6. I have not heard any of them, although I have owned earlier iterations of both Source and Focal speakers.The logistics of actually finding and listening before buying are impossible, but I would be pleased to hear any comments from posters who have experience, and/or thoughts on what would work best within the system.

My daughter's taste is eclectic; mostly rock on the softer side.She is a fan of Ry Cooder. Her listening room is about 18' x 14.'
