Older ProAc speakers vs. new Revel

I've had ProAc Response 3.5 speakers for many years and have been happy with them. However, I'm starting to wonder if newer speakers with newer technology would make a noticable improvement. I've been reading about the Revel Performa 208 and the reviews are pretty great. The big frustration is that there is no way to compare my ProAcs with the Revels side by side and audio memories are so short that listening to one at home and the other at the store hours later just doesn't do much. I would hate to buy the Revels, bring them home, and find out they are no better (or even worse) than the ProAcs. Also, I'm open to other speakers in the $5-10,000 range. My electronics are Audio Research tube Amp and pre Amp, Aurilac Vega DAC, Naim Unitiserve server, Well Tempered Turntable. I know it's a personal decision but would appreciate any input/advice.
