Your Speakers Are Hooked Up Out Of Phase

No stands, cable, magic dots, magic bricks, incantations, or hippie fairy dust will overcome the situation.

You must change the connection to ONE speaker only. Do this:

On ONE speaker only, flip the connection. Take the wire that's now connected to the red positive terminal, and connect it to the black negative terminal. Take the wire that's presently connected to the black negative terminal, and connect it to the red positive terminal.

In otherwords, flip the way ONE speaker's connected. Do this on one side only! Don't do it to the other speaker, cause then you'll be back to an out of phase connection.

This operation may seem very, very, very confusing, complex...and really deep, man. But, it'll solve your problem.
