I was returning from a week in NYC and a live performance was airing gon the inflight satellite. Wow. Charismatic lead singer with a voice very much like that of Gallagher (Oasis).
Damn fine music, too, though a little sugary (perhaps), at least moreso than "O."
I did an Amazon study up and it seems "Pulp" may also be a good avenue of pursuit for my Britpop jones?
Any comments or further recommendations along these lines (the La's, Stone Roses, and Charlatans UK are also known favorites).
