Saw this performance last night at the Rhythm Room in Phoenix. Great show. Dave Alvin is a great guitar player, songwriter and story teller. Phil's a great singer and harmonica player who added much to an already great act we saw a couple of years back at the Compound Grill. This is the second time I've seen this drummer who is stunning in more ways than one - her solo on Dry River was something to behold (visually and sonically).

Rhythm Room is turning into my favorite small venue - saw Adrianna Marie and Savoy Brown in addition to this show in the last couple of weeks.
