A new piece of work from The Pet Shop Boys premiered last night at the Royal Albert Hall telling the story of Alan Turing, the code breaker, from his childhood to incarceration for homosexuality through to his tragic suicide.
A thought provoking price with narrative. I found it quire emotional.
The concert started with an overture called performance and was followed by four songs featuring Chrissie Hynde in fabulous voice.
Very enjoyable.
Coming up, Laura Mvula premieres her album as orchestrated by the Metropole Orchestra, who have previously worked with Todd around green. Laura's album is available now from society of Sound as Hires download.
Busy summer here in London, already seen Daughter, Sam Smith and Clean Bandit at Somerset House. And the weather is glorious too.
Cheers
