I don't either, although I have developed a real appreciation for old country, like Cash, Nelson, Hank Williams Sr., Dwight Yoakam. etc. over the years.
The new country is generally too vanilla, too much of a "soft rock" feel for me. And so much of it is sung with an affected, over-done Southern accent. I find that annoying.
I do tend to enjoy the few newer country artists who don't forget their roots; usually the ones who mix a Bluegrass feel into their recipe.
Taylor Swift is one I would put into that classification. I will freely admit that her looks don't do anything to dissuade me from appreciating her either.
