Home Music Lane

It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Met an in-law family's friend who has an amazing collection of 78s:

is there any market anywhere for this stuff? He has several hundred, I heard excerpts from a CD he made of selections and the quality is excellent. He has much solo instrument and vocal material, this being a small sampling:
"Casals Nocturne in E Flat Chopin
Casals Melody in F Rubinstein
Casals The Swan Saint-Saens
Casals Evening Song Schumann
Edmund Kurtz Sonatine Beethoven
Edmund Kurtz Song of the Minstrel Glazounov
Alfred Wallenstein Serenade Pierne
Alfred Wallenstein Simple Confession Thoma

Violin
Cecilia Hansen Hungarian Dance No. 4, in B minor Brahms
Cecilia Hansen Rondino, Op. 32 No. 2 Vieuxtemps
Renee Chemet Sonata in G minor - Part 1 Tartini
Renee Chemet Sonata in G minor - Part 2 Tartini
Ricardo Odnoposoff Concerto No. 2: Rondo: La Campanella Paganini
Ricardo Odnoposoff Peter and the Wolf: Theme and Processional Prokofieff
Mischa Elman Song Without Words, Op. 62 No. 1 Mendelssohn
Mischa Elman Menuett Haydn

The gentleman is getting on in age and I'd appreciate if anyone could help me out with suggestions that I could pass along. I suppose donations to a museum could be a last resort, if any of them would be interested, but sales would be first choice.
