Home Classical Court

From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

No, your English is just fine. I got so into your description of the pianist as a pink-faced lumbering ox (who needed some calming down) that I missed the part that you liked the performance! My fault.

By all means, do seek out these two CDs:

Liszt, Transcendental Etudes -- Teldec 4509-98415
In excellent sound, this is one of the best out there (although I wouldn't want to be without Cziffra or Berman)

Piano Recital (Mussorgsky "Night on the Bare Mountain", Rachmaninov various Etudes-Tableaux Op.39, Balakirev "Islamey" and more) -- Teldec 4509-96516
Also in excellent sound, an imaginative and GREAT single disc recital.

P.S. The Brahms 2nd is my favorite too!

Regards
