...the 4 CD's set with VB is probably mono (stereo recording became common after 1959)...Celi CD's are okay...he was a conductor in Italy for a good period of his life and Torino is not a very bad orchestra (you'll find the sound very close to Pittsburgh Orch.- very mellow and not very strong strings and with flutes and clarinets way to the right, and the horns in the middle))...just my opinion...
