Why don't you bring along a portable CD player and some CDs in one of those plastic sleeve holders? I know I would...I don't do deprivation very well :-)OR, and maybe more to the point, make some MP3 files out of your favorite CDs (don't know if this can be done w/vinyl) and load 'em on your laptop.
OR, use the CD player in your laptop.
There are numerous possibilities here. I'm OK with vicarious pleasure for some things (I find it's less itchy), but music isn't one of them!!!
