Tight leash, not even close. This is Mendelssohn 3 unbridled and let loose. Unlike Klemperer who literally gives me gas when I think how slow it takes him to get to the point. Maag is vivid, bracing music. Literally what I have expected the music to sound like. And it's still the best in over 60 years.
