I usually only listen to classical radio when I'm driving, and the multipath interference is usually so bad in my neck of the woods that my main classical source while driving is "Symphony Hall" on Sirius-XM satellite radio (which is far from ideal in other respects - but at least it doesn't have the multipath). Usually, the announcer on the programs I hear is this guy, Preston Trombly, who, every so often, comes out with these spectacular gaffes of pronunciation or basic information. One time, he was playing a recording of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 3 (the "Polish'), and informed his audience that the work was so named because Tchaikovsky included a MAZURKA as the main theme of the finale! And this guy taught at Vassar??? Words fail me!
