I'd freak out just thinking about folks with kids walking roaming through the house all day stepping over/kicking apart wires etc -or worse, coming home to find a open infant milk bottle laying across my amp.

I'm willing to bet that setup is disconnected and merely placed there until the home walk-troughs are completed.
