Vinyl sales may be up but I don't believe there's a true 'vinyl revival' going on out there.
All the mastering and pressing houses in the US have been backed up 6 months for the last 2 years. You can even buy LPs at Target. The period of the least LP production was about 1992-1993. LP sales have been on the rise since then.
Not so much as 'revival' as it really never went away.
