I have a Magnavox with a digital tuner and a 100Gb hard drive. Ideal for time shifting. It will output 1080p,at the time cost about $200.
I just looked, not fond of Walmart, but twin tuner with 1TB for under $400, see link. They have a single tuner 500GB for under $300.
