RE: If you use a DAC, then I recommend the Behringer DEQ2496

Behringers have good sound quality, but there are no parts available so they are disposable equipment.

I would usually EQ in the analog domain unless the only things you listen to are digital. Unless the Behringer does both, what about the turntable, tuner, some people even still have tape, what about that ? What aboiut TV sound. It is no longer limited to 13 KHz.

If it as a internal ADC then you can do all that, but if not you'll have to get one and I have no idea where.
