it's kid speak. And we could certainly use a few more kids collecting, and enjoying, vinyl.
Seems far less offensive than all of the pretentious prattle from the balding old guys in the hobby that call sounds "caramel colored", "underdeveloped" and "lacking in body".
I'm afraid to guess what you think of the word "turntablist"!
