Electrocompaniet?

I'm getting old and my memory might be sketchy at times, but weren't they the ones who dressed up a standard run-of-the-mill Asian CD (or DVD) player in a fancy case and marketed it under their own name for about eight times the price of the original?

Now don't flame me, I already realize that Goldmund and another manufacturer(Lexicon or Meridian?) were guilty of the same thing, but I think that I read that Electro did it too.

I will gladly apologize and retract this post if I'm mistaken.
