Whiskey is an acquired taste. Even once acquired that first shot still has its burn. But after that it starts tasting good, too good to me. I won't usually have it in the house, I get to be liking it a bit too much and then there is that jail door waiting for me. Actually I have worked out most of my psychological problems but still, too much is too much. I want to be able to walk. I don't want to puke. And while I am used to beer to the point it does not give me a handover, whiskey can.

As far as people who want to die, I think it is a crime to force them to live. And the time will come for me, just like the old Indian or Eskimo goes out saying goodbye. I don't need to be in a wheelchair wearing Depends. It is not my way. I might actually shoot up for the first time, and of course the last, when that time comes. I don't want to use a gun and add to those statistics, plus it makes a mess. But I will eventually make that decision, and I am not going to burden the health system with life preserving measures that I neither deserve nor want. If they told me I have a terminal disease I would ask how long I have. They will respond "Well with treatment..." and I will stop them right there. No "How long period, no treatment ?".

And I actually support import duties because they are taking advantage of the disparities in the currency exchange and living standards. That problem will fix itself. China cannot hold on to a billion slaves, eventually enough of them will find out how much money is being made and demand a decent wage. Corporate exploitation of the workers caused the formation of labor unions here as well as other places. It is coming to China, as the People start to live better.

And they already do. Not all, but quite a few drive to work in cars with AC, work in nice offices and go home to a nice house with landscaping and all that shit. They do not live in grass huts and eat dirt for supper. But the bottom line here is they are going to want more, and there are those who have less, and they are going to want more.

And they'll get it. A few will die trying but for the most part they will get what they want, now why ? Because work is wealth. This banking shit creating money out of nothing, it should not be included in the GDP. You saw what happened in 2008. Where did the money go ? It never existed. At least that is what they claim when pressed.

But all these places with the cheap labor are going to have their day. You simply cannot hold the whole workforce at gunpoint.

Some of them could use some help. For example in China and a few other places, you live at work. Those are the ones jumping out of windows, they had no future before which is why the took that shit job, and they see no way out. They got no family, couldn't afford one if they did, and their Parents are poor and can't do shit for them.

And we are headed there folks. Grads cannot read their own diploma. In engineering the old engineers do not want to even pay the new grads, want them to work an internship to find out of they know anything. Self taught people, like me, know more than some of them. They can't even design a simple circuit for an OP AMP.

The work is not coming back anytime soon because there is noone to do it. Friend of mine is 68 and a real engineer. Designed the molds to make the impellers for jet engines. If you ever see one you might wonder how the hell they are made, it is not a sand casting, that would not work. Some of those molds or dies whatever require a highly skilled operator because there are like 24 pulls of different pieces all over it that must come out before you can open it and get the part out. And then of course they go back in before you can pour. they keep throwing money at him, they simply cannot find the talent these days.

That is why industry is not coming back soon. We need to make a concerted effort to get the schools back into shape, and that also means the colleges. Why do you think Germans are not bitching about the Chinese taking their jobs ? Because they got skills, work ethic and are productive.

I remember the old days, perhaps too much. Perhaps I expect too much. It is getting ridiculous. Like if I send someone to the beer store, I expect them to not smash my car. And even simpler shit than that. People are getting so stupid it is ridiculous, and when that happens they need to get a Darwin award. If not, our whole society will devolve and we will be in worse shape than in the 1200s.

Think about it. We need to thin out the herd. I do not have any hate, but you have to think about what kind of world you want.
