I live in Albany and work in San Jose - 100 miles a day round trip - I used to spend 4 hours a day in traffic - now I start work at 4:30 AM and leave at 1:30 - about 1 3/4 hours per day.

Co-worker in San Jose lives in Petaluma - on the road for 6 hours a day - don't know how he does it
