One alternative are Furman conditioners with a stiffening cap

Some (but not all) Furman power conditioners include a capacitor in the system to keep the power supply 'stiff' (Stiff means at the full rated voltage)

Also, Monster used to make a big voltage regulator for audio. AVS2000.
I had one and sold it because I really did not need it.
Retail was about $1,200, used should be $500.

I use a Furman 20 amp conditioner. I got mine used for $1,400 so it was a good deal. (over$3K new, and even more now)

Living in an old building with weak AC and limited amps.. Been there long ago.
Now I have a huge AC available in my current apartment building..
