Considering your original premise I would do exactly that. In fact, that's what I did a few years ago. It was the first time in my life I had had a stereo of that caliber and I still consider it to be one of the smartest things I have ever done. For the rest of my life I will have music that is replayed with subtlety and finesse at the greatest level I have ever had at the touch of a few buttons. the best part is that I have reached the realm of diminished returns and I have no interest in going any further, except for my analog chain. That still has to be brought to the level of the rest of it.
