For me radio in general died a long time ago. Limited play lists, no stations with the courage to play anything out of the ordinary. I grew up on KINK in Portland OR and they used to be a great station but even they don't play anything worth listening to anymore. That is where I got clues on cutting edge artists.
I would however miss public broadcasting but not for the music.
