Greetings,
All fixed!
I decided to take the amp to my technician who lives 5 mins away.
He found the 6SN7 tube blew and took a resistor with it. So all is now fixed. System sound super again.
And definitely the speakers are much quieter now (even without the buzz !) and also before I drop the needle in the groove. Maybe a notice that the sound is cleaner than has been these past 4 weeks or so.
