You say DIY and by the 'Max' and 'The Midlife Crisis' I take it these indeed ARE totally DIY. Very nice craftsmanship there! I imagine not inexpensive to get custom enclosures/front panels made, or are they semi-custom? Just curious.

I built my 300B SET monos from Bottlehead kits, enjoyed it, but likely those are the last of my DIY adventures. My casework on them is pretty abysmal ... but the soldering etc. is pretty well done, if I should say so myself. Upgraded some caps to V-Caps and Mundorf Silver-Oils, sound nice.
