RE: are those Polk LSiM's?

Yes .. the LSiM703. The only thing I was looking for was a set of speakers that designed well enough NOT to have the typical mid-bass bump. As it turned out, the 703s met that requirement and gave me a whole lot more !! Over the past year or so, these speakers have triggered an updating of the entire system with the exception of the Yamaha T-85 tuner. It's been a lot of fun.
