Sounds Direct cannot discount Analog Productions lps?

Sounds Direct the bad boy of direct mail audio companies is not allowed by Analog Productions of Acoutic Sounds to discount their lps below the list price while Music Direct, Elusive Discs are allowed. What gives here? I suspect it is because they broke the $89 to $99 free shipping threshold. They offer free shipping if your order totals over $39.95 now $49.95. Just a guess.
